Physical DescriptionArcher's Thumb Ring. Colorless "camphor" or "snowflake" glass and red overlay; probably cut from a tube, ground, cased with red, carved and engraved. Tubular shape; both rims rounded with red borders; in both rims, at corresponding points above and below the coin-like motifs, there are triangular chippings in the red casing; cut design of four coin-like medallions, in red, each inscribed with two characters and further delicately engraved with detail; the colorless ground engraved with an all-over fret pattern.
