Physical DescriptionColorless and transparent dark red non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. (a) Tapered form, red overlay on clear; three cut rounded panels, the center with a semicircular panel at top, inscribed (engraved) "A.F./Pfarrer zu Prietzen.", above an engraved scene of a chapel in the woods, and inscribed (engraved) "Das Prietzner Pfarrhauschen." below; panels at either side with cut foliate motifs and circular facets; a cut band of scallops and floral motifs around base; the bottom with circular red panel with four oval facets and engraved inscription (in reverse; to be read from the inside) "Zum Andenken an A.B./Weinachten 1846."; applied panel-cut loop handle; (b) domed form, red overlay on colorless; panel-cut, with oval facets on rim; panel-cut finial, inscribed (engraved) "Proosit" on top.
