Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, engraved, enameled, pierced metal mounts. Ovoid bodies with cylindrical, straight-sided necks; decorated with a pierced metal collar on the neck in a pattern of formal scrollwork and vertical bars of blue enamel decorated with stylized white floral bands; vertical openwork metal bands with stylized blue-enamel flowers spanning the bodies between the necks and feet; the bulbous bodies of the vase with polished engraved decorations in spirals; rounded foot rims with gilded pierced metal mounts decorated with bands of blue enamel and white enamel floral highlights; polished pontil marks; inscribed "GF." in light blue enamel inside the necks, below the rims.
