Physical DescriptionMillefiori Perfume Bottle with Paperweight Base and Stopper. Colorless, polychrome non-lead glass; blown, millefiori, paperweight. (a) Large ovoid form with small cylindrical neck, rounded rim; ground for a stopper; small cavity inside, above a circular panel of millefiori canes arranged in form concentric rings, disk foot; polished pontil mark; scratched "CHINA"; inscribed "H-426" in white paint. (b) Domed top enclosing a hexagonal disk of millefiori canes arranged in four concentric rows; tapered, rough-ground stem.
