Physical DescriptionTransparent pale green, non-lead glass; blown, enameled. Cylindrical neck; globular body; border of gilding flanked by rows of white dots and a row of blue dots near the rim; trailed ring decorated with red enamel dots below; dated "1601" around neck; trailed mill ring decorated with blue dots at base of neck; a decorative band of brown, green, and blue birds on scrolling branches with greenery on the body, flanked by blue and red lines and white borders; spreading foot formed from same gather as body; applied strap handle; rough pontil mark, shallow kick.
