Physical Description(a) Colorless non-lead glass; mold-blown, ground and polished, acid-etched. Tall, wide cylinder with straight walls sharply articulated broad, flat shoulder with very slightly raised ground and polished narrow rim opening; upper third of cylinder and shoulder given satin finish by acid-etching; cylinder turns sharply inward at base to form deeply inset raised, hollow, narrow foot; underside flat, no pontil mark; bottom of base acid stamped with monogram, interlocking "C" and "L" [reversed] with center dot. (b) Opaque black non-lead glass; pressed. Shallow, straight-sided dish; slightly raised foot ring, no pontil; unsigned.
