Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; pressed. Flared cylinder; thick-walled vase in form of stylized blossom (lotus ?) at opening and decorated with overall leafage on body; top third of cylindrical vessel flares out and up in the shape of eight pointed petals in relief, each petal has a raised central rib which is touched at mid-point by tip of long, raised, vertical leaf decorated with overall regular intaglio veining; between each tall leaf is a shorter, broader leaf that connects to adjacent leaf; leaves end in a point above thick, solid base; leaf area generally acid- etched to give satin finish; inscribed "Lalique RO France"; paper label "Made in France"; paper label "1230/9" on bottom of base.
