Physical DescriptionMilk Bottle. Colorless non-lead glass; mold-blown in automatic machinery. Cylindrical shape with molded lip, sloping shoulders, straight sides, two vertical mold seams from lip to base, base embossed "A. G. S. & CO/3/PATENTED/April 5 1898"; metal lid is held in place by "lightning type" wire bail and is embossed: "A. G. SMALLEY & CO/FULL MEASURE"; two metal bands clamped around neck and waist of bottle secure ear-shaped metal handle.
