Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with dry satt iridescence, opaque blue/black; blown, manipulated, flame-worked, iridized. Cylindrical shape with onion dome stopper; stopper: blown, salt-fumed with solid elongated tip; stopper inscribed: "JFN #2531"; topped with applied hot worked frog with protruding eyes with black and fumes inclusions, frog crouches and tips of toes arc flame-work applied blue-black dots that merge with overall decoration of dots; vessel is thick walled, cylinder with stepped; neck and solid tapered, applied base; body decorated with applied frog whose blue-black toes merge with spiral of dots wrapping around body from neck to base, overall fumed mottling except for base; base is slightly concave with applied button over pontil; inscribed in script on base: "John Nygren #2531"; inscribed and hot-stamped: "JFN 1983".
