Physical DescriptionDecanter with Stopper, "Sirènes et grenouilles (Mermaids and frogs)". Colorless glass, gray patina; mold-blown decanter, mold-pressed stopper, acid-etched, applied patina. (a) Decanter with ovoid body and long, narrow neck that tapers slightly towards wide, flat rim. Exterior of vessel decorated with four panels, each showing nude mythical figures. Four frog heads decorated area where neck and body join. Gray patina applied to decoration. (b) Matching stopper with tall spire top.
