Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, metallic gold; cast in a mold, application of gold leaf. Small, lozenge-shaped casting with internal modeling depicting two sides of presumably the same pseudo-Greek medallion flanking one another; one side is decorated with the head of a bearded man with curly hair (probably Poseidon) facing the other coin showing a small figure facing the other coin, perched on what appears to be a boat with a battering ram (the Argo) that has two rows of Greek script one of which appears to spell Jason; back of glass with intaglio impressions has been covered in gold leaf; edge is ground flat.Provenance
