Physical DescriptionGold Glass Panel, "Journey of a Soul". Transparent blue/green copper non-lead glass, milky white and pink applications, 24k-gold leaf, metallic gold, colorless plexi-glass backing; two thin layers of rolled flat glass colored with copper are fused with internal engraved gold-leaf decoration, colored lusters applied to surface; glass is adhered to plexi-glass. Rectangular panel with irregular edge of blue/green glass with internal decoration of engraved gold leaf and details of transparent green and pink and milky white dots; gold leaf depicts stylized horizontal flying angel wearing crown, triangular face has large ovoid green eyes, angled nose and small pink lips, angel's left hand is bent towards face and frames one eye, the other arm is bent at side and cradles a green bird with pink eye, angel has one large extended wing with pink details, slightly bent legs extend backward from robe, overall scattered dots of milky white and bits of gold leaf; slightly mottled surface; panel is backed by sheet of Plexi-glass cut to size; engraved in gold leaf at center, front left, of background in block letters: "EDRIS".Provenance
