Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent cobalt non-lead glasses, metallic gold; blown with hot applications, hand forged and gilded metal, adhered. Tall blown vessel consisting of two equal conical forms, with slightly flared rims placed tip to tip (colorless with scalloped rim and molded ribs on top, cobalt blue with optic molding and ground and polished rim on bottom); tips joined hot by a solid sphere of colorless (sandwiched between two flattened colorless patties) decorated with two opposing extruded points of cobalt; two large asymmetrical gilded metal "handles" adhered to lower half of cobalt section and extending upward; one side in shape of large spiral with split end; other side with smaller spiral, foliage and two small tight spiraling tendrils to hold candle; upper half of handles held to colorless section of vessel by adhering to grooves of two small colorless patties (attached hot?); unsigned.Provenance
