Physical DescriptionColorless, polychrome lead glass; paperweight, lampwork, cut. Domed, circular form, enclosing a lampworked butterfly over a flower; butterfly with colorful wings formed of flattened millefiori canes backed by opaque white, the top, leading wings formed of red and yellow canes, the lower ones of red, yellow, blue and green canes; the body dark amethyst, the antennae dark blue, the eyes light blue; the red and yellow flower formed from six cupped white petals filled with bright yellow, with a six- petaled bright orange-red clematis within, with a green and white stardust and whorl cane; on a green stem, with twelve green leaves; polished pontil mark with cut star; paper label inscribed "21" in ink.
