Physical DescriptionPaperweight with Square Millefiori Canes. Colorless, red, white, blue, green lead glass; paperweight, millefiori, cut. Domed, circular form, with large cut circular facet on top, and two rows of smaller circular facets on the sides; enclosing an array of millefiori canes, mostly of square form; a red, green, white and yellow cane at the center, surrounded by four square canes formed of red and white tubes in a square white frame, spaced by pairs of red and white millefiori, encircled by two rows of square canes in alternating blue or white frames, encircled by a ring of red, green, white, and blue millefiori canes; set onto a "lacy" bed of white filigree twists, backed by a parallel length of white filigree twists; polished pontil mark; paper label inscribed "135" in ink.Provenance
