Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, natural tint of float glass, black metal, iron support; slumped over a mold in a kiln, sand-blasted, ground, polished; fabricated drawn iron support. Large rectangular table with separate glass top of rectangular flat glass slumped over a mold to give appearance of cloth with semi-folded corners draped over a framework, underside of glass sandblasted to give overall frosted appearance and mottling; glass "tablecloth" rests on metal framework formed of "T"-shaped iron bars, top is "X"-shaped bracing, corners of framework have triangular brass insets, extending from them are short vertical iron tabs with welded brass hooks covered in plastic tubing, slightly raised corners of glass rest on hooks; all edges of glass slightly beveled, polished; scattered tool marks; impressed in metal section of one corner: "FIAM".
