Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; pressed. Double conical shape. (a) Dish is circular with straight sides widening to rim. Female bust on either side, one resting her head on one hand; shell like ornaments in between busts conceal mold seams; lower part of bowl is frosted; circular foot has lines radiating from center to edge. (b) Cover has a pointed finial with four scallop shells around it, a sloping shoulder with eight 5- pointed stars on inside and straight sides flaring to rim with matching female portraits and shell ornaments.
