Physical DescriptionOpaque white lead glass; blown, painted. Hemispherical form, on small disk foot; the sides with unfired painted decoration of two rose buds springing with two leaves, along with three sprays of blue flowers, and three sprays of red flowers, tied with a blue bow, on one side of the bowl; and a spray with red flowers, a blue morning glory and three buds, and leaves on the reverse; a border of blue dots arranged in triangles around the foot, and a few triangles of blue dots on the inside of the bowl; rough pontil mark.
