Physical DescriptionColorless glass encasing amber and pale blue or green tinted glass; multiple gathers and metallic (silver nitrate?) 'veils'; formed hot, cut and polished. Ovoid shape resembles human skull; "Brain" represented by interior amber and pale blue or green tinted gather with numerous cords encasing ovoid shape bubble; colorless glass gather encases 'brain' structure and has iridescent 'veiled' surface; separate gathers of colorless glass represent eyes, bubbles depict teeth, nostrils, and the symmetrical division of the brain; entire structure again cased in colorless glass; the left eye socket deeply cut and polished; signed on base "R. Goldoni/70".
