Physical DescriptionColorless glass, red and copper-colored wire; glass, copper(?) wire; formed from three superimposed gathers; first and second gathers decorated with wire; base ground and polished. Paperweight: dome-shaped. Base plain, slightly concave. Interior contains two layers of wire, one loosely applied to onion-shaped innermost gather, other applied after object had been cased with second gather. Minute bubbles of air trapped on surface of wires create silver highlights. Glass contians several bubbles up to 0.3 cm across.
