Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved; enameled, stamped, encrusted metal foil. Cylindrical, straight-sided shape, with cut sides; plain rim, wide band with two circular panels with cut spiral pinwheels and a wide rectangular panel with fan of rounded ribbing, and a cut oval panel enclosing an enameled gold metal foil medal of the Legion of Honor, with five white arms backed by a green foliate wreath, with a gold medallion at the center, stamped male head facing sinister against a rayed background, encircled by a blue band inscribed in gold "HENRI IV ROI DE FRAN. ET DE NA."; cut ledge below, with a band of cut concave panels below, panel below the medal with engraved script monogram "AG"; bottom with cut hatching and rounded tables.
