Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle with Stopper Spoon. Opaque turquoise blue glass; blown, cold-worked. (a) Ovoid form; short, flared neck, with polished flat rim, and opening on top for a stopper and spoon; rounded shoulders and sides, slightly bulbous faces; cold-worked oval foot rim; incised Chinese characters within the foot rim "乾隆年制 Qianlong nianzhi". (b) Domed button cap, gilt, with raised stylized flowers; flared rim; tapered cork shank; orange stained ivory spoon, with slender handle and pointed oval spatulate bowl.
