Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, molded, and pincered. Ovoid body, cup-shaped rim with pinched pouring spout, long, cylindrical neck with trailed rigaree collar at the base; rounded shoulder above ovoid body, tapering toward the base, with sixteen raised vertical molded ribs on the lower half; trailed, pincered foot rim; base with slight kick and rough pontil mark; applied spirally-ribbed handle, attached to the rim and shoulder, with the end curled, attached to the neck and body with small flattened pads; pointed depression on the top of the handle, for a metal collar to which a cover was hinged.
