Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; probably cast, cut, engraved. Shallow bowl shape; bottom engraved with numerous pentagonal and hexagonal concave cells, the cells around the edge of the grouping with circular edges facing the rounded rim; each cell separated from the other by engraved lines; engraved above cells but below rim on one side in script "Riedel"; paper label on inside of bowl: "made in austria/RIEDEL/since 1756/Full lead- crystal/over 24% PbO/4-81".
