Physical DescriptionPunch Bowl. Colorless lead glass; pressed. Oversized, lipless goblet with deep bowl decorated on exterior with overall pattern of grape clusters in varying relief; plain, solid stem and base has central "knop" of raised encircling cluster of grapes; grapes are acid-etched to give satin finish then polished at highest points; one side of foot is engraved in block letters "2 Juillet 1970/A/Jerome Strauss/Chez lequel le metallurgiste et/l'homme de Gout ont trouve pour/le verre la meme passion", encircling names engraved on vertical edge of foot; inscribed on bottom of foot "Lalique France".
