Physical DescriptionTransparent orange, brown, light yellow-green, cased in colorless (with pale green tint); non-lead glass; blown, hot-worked. Heavy flattened vesselw ith extended narrow neck, flat tooled rim with very narrow opening; base of neck flares out into broad shoulders that turn at right angle to form the straight sides of a roughly horizontal rectangular shaped body; interior cavity is decorated with broad "zig-zag" of striated dark brown and orange with bubbled light yellow-green background that swirls up through neck, in combination with neck the cavity forms a tear-drop shape deeply encased at straight sides in colorless applied in overlapping gathers producing convergin patterns on broad sides, sides taper in towards narrow ovoid base ground and polished flat; no pontil; overall small bubbles; inscised in script on base: "Mdína/1979".
