Physical DescriptionAsh Tray. Colorless glass; cast, perhaps ground and polished. Ash tray: oval, with thick wall and base. Rim rounded, higher at mid-point of sides than at ends, as though circular object has been made oval by compressing it, and with groove at each end; wall curves down and in; base plain, perhaps ground and polished underneath, with concavity at center. Maker's paper label attached to inside of wall: rectangular, with rounded ends, printed in pale brown on dark brown, "Fostoria / MADE --wineglass-- IN U.S.A.".
