Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with applied decoration of transparent white, green, amber, opaque black; vessel blown with applied colored frit, canes of colored glass and glass frits applied with blowtorch (flameworked) while hot; hotworked colorless stopper. Small flattened ovoid body with narrow opening and short thick neck, white and black frit has been scattered to give appearance of clouds, green/black/amber frits scattered towards the base; decoration on one flattened side of two lampworked trees with black trunk and branches blowing in the wind; base is ground and polished flat; inscribed in script around exterior edge of base: "Matthew Buechner c 1987 Thames Street Glass".Provenance
