Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; pressed. Double conical shape. (a) Compote is circular with straight sides widening to rim. Female bust on either side, one resting her head on her hand is labeled "FANNY DAVENPORT"; the other, wearing a hat is "MAGGIE MITCHELL"; shell-ornaments in between busts conceal mold seams; baluster stem above circular foot which has lines radiating from center to edge. (b) Cover has a pointed funnel with four scallop shells around it, sloping shoulder with eight 5-pointed stars on inside and straight sides flaring to rim with matching female portraits and shell ornaments.
