Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent amber glasses; blown, internal sandblasted graal decoration, cut, kiln-formed. Horizontal sculpture formed of a flat sheet of glass with fire polished edges loosely formed in an irregular "S"-curve, object rests on edge of one long side and is supported by the curve of the glass sheet; overall internal decoration of five amber stylized overlapping female figures in assorted positions with arced backs producing the impression of a "motion study" of a swimmer turning circles under water, one mottled amber patch within colorless background; figures are framed by strip borders along both long edges (one is a clearly defined undulating band, the other is irregular and mottled); scattered air traps; inscribed in script at base edge near one corner: "Stephen Dale Edward '83".
