Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. (a) Ovoid shape; neck tapered, with cut, flat rim, ground for a stopper, with three cut neck rings, faceted between; rounded sides with an engraved oval medallion enclosing a version of the arms of New York State; cut short vertical flutes around the bottom; flat base with polished pontil mark at the center; (b) flat, oval, vertical shape, faces polished flat, rim with cut scallops; ground, tapered shank, with ground, flat end.
