Physical DescriptionPunch Bowl with Ladle and separate Base. Colorless lead glass; blown and cut. Half-spherical scalloped, serrated rim. (a) Bowl cut on pattern of six hobstars around sides with triangular sections in between filled with a cane like pattern or fine diamonds; large boss on base cut with hobstar and indented in center to fit over. (b) Separate base in the form of a small shallow compote, with flaring hollow paneled stem and hallow body cut in pattern matching that on bowl. (c) Ladle has shell shaped silver bowl and pear-shaped glass handle with enclosed air trap and cut in hobstars.Provenance
