Physical DescriptionLampshade: shaped like spool. Top rim short and everted, with flat upper surface finished by grinding; wall is divided into three zones: top splays to rounded carination then cuts back horizontally, creating truncated cone; central part descends vertically, creating cylinder; bottom bulges to rounded carination, then tapers; bottom rim splayed and divided into ten vestigial scallops, with rounded edge. Wall decorated from top to bottom with ten vertical ribs, which are almost imperceptible at top and most prominent in central section. Glass has
gold outer surface with iridescent highlights.
