Physical DescriptionColorless, translucent to transparent white with pink blush, translucent to transparent red or reddish-orange glasses; blown; rims finished at glory hole. A. (a) Jar with (b) cover. Jar: white at top, shading into colorless at bottom; rim everted and folded inward and slightly downward with plain lip and rounded outer edge; wall descends in concave curve, tapering and curving in at bottom; base plain with low kick; pontil mark. Signature scratched on underside of base with diamond point; two lines: "B/G '82/ NONFOUX". (b) Cover: red; hollow "mushroom-shaped" domed form with narrow flat top, and convex side which curves sharply in at bottom and the splays to merge with tapering bottom rim; rounded lip; pontil mark on top of dome removed by grinding and polishing, leaving shallow depression; B. (a) jar with (b) cover. Jar: white; rim everted and folded inward and slightly downward with plain lip and rounded outer edge; wall descends and curves in at bottom; base plain with low kick; pontil mark. Signature scratched on underside of base with diamond point; two lines: "B/G '83/ NONFOUX".
