Physical DescriptionTwo Argand Lamps. Colorless lead glass and brass; blown and cut. Cylindrical oil font with cut horizontal ribbing and cut knob on top, atop two brass arms leading to burners; brass stem fits into cut glass canopy above cut glass base with horizontal ribbing and diamond cutting; left font has a brass plaque with "BEMIS & VOSE / BOSTON"; right font has "WILLIAM BROOKES / MANUFACTURER / LONDON"; a holder for prisms hangs from top of font and from each burner.
