Physical DescriptionPair of Candelabra: Colorless lead glass; cut and polished. Consists of a flat vertical element in the form of a stylized fleur-de-lis elongated by two stacked pair of abstracted leaf forms; V-cut detailing of general leaf veining on one side only; two curved horizontal extremes are surmounted by white-metal plated threaded brass hardware in a flared cylindrical form with vertical extensions fitted with ribbed rubber washers; removable concave pressed bobeches cut with an edge of alternating scallops and points; decorated with three V-cut lines extending from edges and middle of points in to the lowers point of dish; removable candle sockets fitted with brass threading, in the form of an elongated blossom with same edge treatment and engraving as bobeches; vertical section is bolted to a solid rectangular base; top surface edges are deeply beveled and outside edges are beveled and cut in same scallop/point pattern; underside with V-cuts radiating from center to outside edge of each point; cut edges beveled and surfaces bear marks of acid polishing.
