Physical DescriptionCanarina Perfume Bottle with Stopper, "Canarina - 1, Les Yeux bleus (Blue eyes)". Transparent cobalt glass; mold-blown bottle, mold-pressed stopper, acid-etched. Small bottle with almost square front and back and narrow sides; pressed stopper in form of flat horizontal square (inscribed on underside 127), on one narrow side edge raised block letters CANARINA, deeply inset ground shank, long narrow applicator (probably lampworked); body has short lipped columnar neck, flat sides, broad front side decorated with raised stylized eyes in nested rows, eyes have been etched to give matte surface; flat base, inscribed towards one end 127; no pontil; in raised block letters on base: "R. LALIQUE/FRANCE (in between the above to lines are remains of an oval encircling what may be the number 100)".Provenance
