Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, sawn, ground, polished. Set of three vessels, each cut from same original double-lobed form, each with openings ground and polished flat, each resting at an angle on base ground and polished flat; (A) tallest vessel, double-lobed with narrowed circular opening; (B) middle sized bowl, original form has been cut in half leaving wide figure-8 shaped opening, two-compartment body, form rests on base of largest compartment, smaller section is cantilevered; (C) low dish, wide opening in shape of figure-eight but with one half significantly smaller than the other, same form as (B), however smaller compartment has been reduced to a handle; (A) and (C) inscribed in script on base: "Steuben PS"; (B) inscribed: "Steuben".
