Physical DescriptionColorless glass; cast, sandblasted, polished. (A) Dish: shallow. Rim rounded; wall curves downward and inward, then descends steeply at bottom; plain base. Decorated by sandblasting outer surface of wall and small part of base; sandblasting is irregular and, when seen from inside of dish has appearance of aerial view of landscape surrounding lake with three islands, the polished underside of the base simulating water. (B) Dish: shallow. Rim rounded; wall curves downward and inward, then descends steeply at bottom; plain base. Decorated by sandblasting outer surface of wall and small part of base; sandblasting is irregular and, when seen from inside of dish has appearance of aerial view of landscape surrounding lake with two islands, the polished underside of the base simulating water.
