Physical DescriptionChampagne Glass in "Buckle" Pattern. Colorless lead glass; blown and cut. Shallow circular bowl with cut pattern of vertical ovals around bowl, each oval cut with diamonds and plain in the center, ("Buckle" pattern), one with shield-shaped center and "C" in old English lettering; diamond cutting below "Buckles" to top of stem, hour-glass stem with air trap and cut panels on exterior, applied flat circular foot cut with "Dorflinger Star" underneath. Paper label on foot with "R. Lotournos / FX.XX Buckle / JXX.XX Pattern / Dorflinger / c 1869 #100".Provenance
