Physical DescriptionColorless glass; machine blown, gilded and enameled. Tumbler. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall straight, tapering; base plain; no pontil mark. Gilded and enameled decoration on rim and upper wall: on rim, continuous band of gilding on outside and top of lip; on wall, "CORNING GLASS WORKS" in blue enamel; below this, octagonal gold medallion enclosing blue disk with, near edge, five gold stars, geometric motifs, and "103 YEARS" and, at center, colorless rectangular panel with gold outline and gold "103" at center; to left of octagon, "1851" in gold, with gold star above and below; to right of octagon, "1954" in gold, with gold star above and below.Provenance
