Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass with opaque white twists; blown, with burnished gilding. Long slender bowl with straight sides spreading slightly to rim and at bottom tapering sharply to applied straight stem with pair of opaque white tape corkscrews around a lacy core, applied sloping circular foot with plain rim, rough pontil mark; gilt decoration on bowl: one side, bunch of grapes with leaves and tendrils; on reverse, foliated scrolled cartouche with foliated initials "S S"; narrow band around rim.
