Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent amber glass, wire, wooden dowel; found glass is cut, copper-wheel engraved, assembled. Small, rough, assemblage consisting of a bent length of wire wrapped around two notched ends of a short wooden dowel; from ends of dowel hang two short pieces of wire of uneven length that are attached to two holes cut through opposite tips of a wide pair of connected wings with engraved stylized radiating feathers; at juncture of wings is a cut slit from which are wired a pair of cut-out amber legs and a pair of arms and hands, overall matte engraving; hands are drilled and to them are wired a cut-out, stylized amber head laying on its side, wired to that is a colorless crown; all glass is engraved on both sides; unsigned.Provenance
