Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown. Footed teardrop; (a) thinly blown bulbous vessel with elongated flaring cylindrical neck; rounded base sits on a deep, hollow, conical foot; fire-polished edge; rough pontil. (b) Stopper consisting of slightly conical, oversized, hammered silver disc with four raised drop shapes radiating from center free-standing small sphere; edge of disc turned under and stamped with marks; disc attached to tapered cork by a long screw and nut; stamped "JP&S" with three hallmarks on inner rim of stopper.Provenance
