Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass (Pearl Glass); tan, navy print cardboard; mold-blown, by hand; engraved; a) cylindrical shaped chimney; top rim rounded and smooth; hollow straight body, body pinched in about ¾ of the way down from the rim, body of greater diameter below pinch, old catalog number "74.429" written in black ink at bottom, "MACBETH/No 54/PEARL GLASS/MADE IN U.S.A" stamped onto side near bottom; bottom rim flat; b) original box for chimney; rectangular in shape; "MACBETH NO 54/PEARL GLASS/LAMP CHIMNEY" stamped in navy ink on all four long sides of box; four flaps at both ends of box, two outer flaps stamped with navy ink, one flap reads "MACBETH/NO 54," other flap "LAMP/CHIMNEY;" inner flaps plain; piece of curled ribbed cardboard packing inside box, packing the length of the box.Provenance
