Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; Black, white and lavender paper board; mold-blown by machine; a) cylindrical shaped carafe; polished rim with pinched and curled lip; straight sided body with waist for gripping, waist about 1/3 of the way down from the rim to the base, clear sticker with black Creative Glass logo on it adhered to body above waist to left of lip; flat circular base; b) rectangular box; black exterior, white interior; opening has three flaps, top flap has Creative Glass logo in center, old Corning Glass Center price sticker marked "$5." below logo, part of sticker missing; two box sides opposite each other have photograph of carafe with "Creative/Glass/ by Corning" printed above it and Creative Glass logo at bottom, other two sides plain with "A/PRODUCT/OF/IMAGINATION/ (YOURS/AND OURS) /GLASS/TENDER/ (60 OZ.) /CG-25" printed at bottom; base of box has four overlapping flaps, base perforated along one diagonal, "CORNING/CORNING GLASS WORKS/CORNING NEW YORK" printed on one flap.Provenance
