Physical DescriptionColorless glass blashed in transparent amethyst; blown, acid-etched. Almost spherical vase with narrow lipless opening tapering slightly inward, rounded shoulder; entire body has been acid-etched to give frosted and slightly textured background, walls have decoration of large amethyst dots (formed by masking in the etching process) interspersed with smaller, slightly concave, ground and polished colorless dots; solid narrow circular base of colorless with amethyst flashing; ground and polished pontil; inscribed in script on edge of foot: "Schneider".
