Physical DescriptionBlue-green tint plate glass, polychrome enamels, gold leaf; cut, assembled, enameled, applied metal leaf. Large square Vitrolite panel siliconed to painted wood backing; wide border almost entirely covered (except for a few areas near edges on all four sides) with pastel colored enamels, decoration designs have been inscribed through the enamel while still wet with overall stylized imagery (head, silhouette, self-portrait, stick figures, vessels, eye, clock faces, pyramids, dog, architecture, lettering); mounted central smaller square with black and white striped outline and 1" wide copper moiré patterned metal border surrounding enameled surface of blended bands of light blue, yellow, and pink; towards bottom of inset square a small shelf of unpainted thick plate glass juts out and supports a stylized cut-out head silhouette also of thick plate glass with exterior surface covered with the golden patterned metal, small plate glass strut connects back of head to panel; inscribed in script through wet enamel at lower right corner: "H.
