Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, aluminosilicate; stainless steel; mold-blown by machine, pressed; a) cylindrical shaped boiler; smooth rim; body straight; channel around circumference of body near top; metal band in channel, "6283" and PYREX® Flameware logo stamped in band to left of handle, "STAINLESS" stamped in band to right of handle; horizontal handle attached to metal band by screws, "62-H" molded into left side of handle near band, "C-3" molded into right side; flat circular base, PYREX® Flameware trademark molded into center; b) cylindrical shape; smooth rim; channel around circumference of body near top; metal band in channel "6283" and PYREX® Flameware logo stamped into band to left of handle, "STAINLESS" stamped into band to right of handle; horizontal handle attached to metal band by screws, "62-H" molded into left side of handle near band, "C-23" molded into right side; top third of body of greater diameter than bottom two-thirds, bottom part slightly tapered in to base; flat circular base with PYREX® Flameware trademark molded into center; c) circular cover; round knob with depressed top; cover slightly domed, edge turned down, "PYREX®" and "6283-C C-27" molded into cover's edge.Provenance
