Physical DescriptionTransparent, blue-gray tint and colorless non-lead glass; stainless steel; aluminum; mold-blown by machine, stamped, pressed; a) cylindrical shape; machine finished top rim with pinched lip; body straight sided, there is a channel around its circumference about a third of the way down from the rim to the base; metal band in channel, "STAINLESS" stamped upside down into band near handle; handle opposite lip, attached to pot by metal band, attachment piece, and screw; attachment piece stamped "PYREX®" on one side, stamped "STAINLESS" on the other; cylindrical octagonal glass handle, "CD" molded into side of handle near top; flat base stamped with green PYREX® FLAMEWARE trademark including item number "7826-B;" (b) slightly domed circular cover; rounded flange; rim of greater diameter than cylindrical insert; "A-U" and "8106-C" molded into insert, insert has two semicircular tabs, one opposite the other; underside of cover has four bumps inside raised scalloped edged circle, "PYREX®" molded into underside near one insert tab, "MADE IN U.S.A." molded into underside near other insert tab; c) thin cylindrical shape with wide base; machine finished rim; knob about halfway down stem from rim; domed base, two small notches opposite each other in base's rim; "PYREX®" molded into underside of one side of base, "8106" molded into opposite side; d) open cylindrical shape; machine finished rims; short neck, neck rounds out to body about one quarter of distance from top to bottom; e) circular shaped filter; shallow dish with straight sides; rim has three upright tabs, tabs' ends are bent out; dish bottom mostly flat, star shape indented into it, bottom perforated with tiny holes, a hollow tube is attached perpendicularly to hole in center; "PAT.
